Composed of the country’s top women business leaders and entrepreneurs, the Women’s Business Council Philippines, Inc. (WomenBizPH) is the leading voice of women in commerce, inspiring and empowering women in the Philippines. Serving as the platform to discuss women’s issues in business and possible government policies and solutions, WomenBizPH is the lead private sector partner of the government, particularly the Department of Trade and Industry and the Philippine Commission on Women, and represents the Philippines in APEC and ASEAN events.

As an advocacy group, WomenBizPH is an active force in looking for solutions to challenges women in leadership and women in business generally face in the conduct of their business. Further, it seeks to promote women-led and women-owned enterprises through networking and through the use of technology. Its objective is to advocate and facilitate the needed accesses of women in business, particularly small and medium enterprises, to become sustainable, to thrive, to grow.

• Influence economic policies and advocate programs to address women’s business concerns in such areas as technology development, training, access to markets, and access to finance;
• Advocate or undertake programs to advance the status of women workers, entrepreneurs, owners or executives;
• Monitor the status of women in the economy through research and maintain a robust database on women in business;
• Promote gender balance and diversity in business and in government;
• Forge business alliances and establish commercial networks among women-owned, women-led or managed business and with other business groups; and
• Be the lead private sector organization of women in business and the go-to partner organization for government.
