The AWEN Regional Workshop on Leadership and Governance, together with the Training of Trainers (ToT), was co-hosted and organized by the International Trade Centre (ITC) in collaboration with the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network (AWEN).

Held in Vientiane, Lao PDR, from 27–29 January 2026, the workshops brought together women entrepreneur leaders from across ASEAN to strengthen leadership capacity, governance practices, and institutional development within the network. The Leadership and Governance Workshop provided a platform for participants to reflect on roles, structures, and decision-making processes, while aligning on shared values and strategic priorities for AWEN.

Complementing this, the Training of Trainers equipped participants with practical facilitation skills and training tools, enabling them to effectively cascade knowledge and build capacity within their respective countries. Together, the workshops aimed to reinforce AWEN’s organizational strength, enhance regional collaboration, and empower women entrepreneurs to contribute to sustainable and inclusive economic growth across ASEAN.
