Board Member, ABAC Lao PDR
As the 6th Chair of the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network (AWEN) for the 2026–2027 term, it is both an honor and a meaningful responsibility to lead a regional platform dedicated to advancing women’s economic empowerment across ASEAN.
As President of the Lao Business Women Association, my work has long been guided by a strong belief that empowering women entrepreneurs is essential to building resilient economies and inclusive societies. Through years of engagement in business development, leadership, and regional cooperation, I have witnessed how women-led enterprises contribute not only to economic growth, but also to social progress and community well-being.
AWEN represents more than a network of women entrepreneurs. It is a collaborative ecosystem that fosters capacity building, regional connectivity, innovation, and access to new opportunities. During Laos’ chairmanship, we aim to further strengthen AWEN as an organization, enhance linkages among members, and create practical platforms for skills development, trade promotion, and cross-border collaboration.
Through close cooperation with governments, the private sector, and development partners, AWEN will continue to serve as a gateway for women entrepreneurs to engage meaningfully at the regional and global levels. Together, we will amplify our collective voice, remove barriers, and open pathways for women entrepreneurs to lead and thrive.
Let us move forward together with commitment, collaboration, and a shared vision for a more inclusive and prosperous ASEAN.
